Volkswagen serves up zero DP, discount promos with BPI, BPI Family Savings Bank

MANILA: Volkswagen Philippines, along with the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and the BPI Family Savings Bank, is offering VW models with zero down payment and cash discount promos. The promo runs until November 30. 

Volkswagen Philippines said that customers who will avail of the zero down payment financing must agree to a Hold-Out Deposit Agreement with the bank. 

Through the agreement, the bank will hold in the customer's account a percentage equivalent to the vehicle’s price. On top of covering the amortization of the vehicle, the deposit account will continue to earn interest up to 24 months after its hold-out period, the distributor said. 

After the period, the customer may be able to withdraw the whole amount including all earned interest, given that the loan account is updated and not in past due status.

Meanwhile, customers who will buy through cash will be offered discounts. The Volkswagen models are offered at the following corresponding prices:

• Santana from P550,000.
• Lamando from P1.494 million. 
• T-Cross from P1.68 million.
• Multivan Kombi from P3.595 million.
• Santana GTS 180 MPI AT SE at P965,000.
• Lavida 230 TSI DSG SE at P918,000. 

Additionally, free chattel mortgage fee and free first year comprehensive insurance will also be included with participating models.
