Will Volkswagen Group Part Away its Bentley and Lamborghini Divisions?

MANILA: Adding up another page to the book of the Volkswagen Dieselgate scandal, the automaker has been heard of considering to sell some of its asset to purge away the 20 billion Euro credit loan it took.

The one -year loan is absolutely the need of an hour where this giant automaker is under the pressure of recalling the vehicles, fitting them for free, paying the fines, fighting the lawsuits and also keeping up with daily expenses. The Volkswagen Group is already cutting down on capital expenditure to keep its financial in check.

VW group has a number of brands under its umbrella, Audi, Skoda, Bugatti, Porsche, are few to name. The consideration of Lamborghini, Bentley and Ducati, to some extent for sale raises a question in mind that why these brands only? Well, Volkswagen Group has its own reasons and we are sure it must be reasonable. But, slipping off such luxury reputed brands from its umbrella really proves one thing right that desperate times call for desperate measures.

Now, with all this, we only hope that this New Year really repairs the image and financials of this world famous German auto brand caused due to big Volkswagen Dieselgate blunder.
