Yes, you can join the Rolls-Royce Young Designer Competition
MANILA: Have you ever dreamed of designing cars? Well, how about designing a luxury car? If you’re 16 or under, this is your chance.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has opened up the “Young Designer Competition” for all aspiring young designers around the world up to the age of 16.
Aside from letting the imagination and creativity of kids run free to allow them to create the boldest and most ingenious design for Rolls-Royce, this contest also aims to provide parents and children with a welcome distraction during the worldwide COVID-19 outbreak.
The marque’s design team will judge all entries and select an overall winner, who will receive a rendered illustration of their design — a true once-in-a-lifetime, money-can’t-buy prize — as well as a chauffeur-driven journey in a Rolls-Royce Phantom for their first day back to school, with their best friend.
Runners-up will receive a hand-signed certificate from Torsten Müller-Ötvös, the chief executive officer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
The winning UK entrant will also receive two extra prizes, a chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce ride to school once the UK’s own coronavirus countermeasures draw to an end, plus a new Greenpower electric car kit will be donated to the recipients’ school.
