‘Zero in on a Volkswagen’ promo offers special financing deals

MANILA: Volkswagen Philippines, in partnership with the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), offers huge discounts and easy financing schemes this month through the "Zero in on a Volkswagen" no cash out promo.

From July 1 to 31, customers can drive home a brand-new Volkswagen unit without having to pay an actual down payment. Approved customers will be asked to execute a Hold-Out Agreement from BPI, which is equivalent to as low as 20% down payment that can be withdrawn after 24 hours, as long as the auto loan account is updated and not in past due status. The Hold-Out deposit will remain in the account while earning interest. The entire amount of the car is amortized for 60 months, and the customer will be able to enjoy Volkswagen’s true zero cash out initiative.

The current cash discounts on select models are also applied to lower their retail prices. Every purchase under the promo also comes with free chattel mortgage and free comprehensive insurance for the first year.

The promo offers the following discounted prices and deals on select variants:

• The Santana MPI MT starts at P550,000 (from P686,000 SRP) at P13,739 monthly, with a BPI deposit amount as low as 30% down payment.
• The Lavida 230 TSI DSG SE starts at P918,000 (from P1.171 million SRP) at P22,932 monthly, with a BPI deposit amount as low as 30% down payment.
• The Santana GTS 180 MPI AT SE starts at P995,000 (from P1.029 million SRP) at P24,856 monthly, with a BPI deposit amount as low as 20% down payment.
• The Lamando 280 TSI DSG SE starts at P1.515 million (from P1.569 million SRP) at P37,845 monthly, with a BPI deposit amount as low as 20% down payment.
