MANILA: The Nissan Kicks e-Power was picked by leading animal health company Zoetis Philippines Incorporated to create a fleet of employee vehicles.

The Philippine-spec Nissan Kicks e-Power has a price ranging from P1.179 million-P1.479 million.Per Nissan Philippines, Zoetis chose the Kicks e-Power units since it aligns with the company’s priority to “advance sustainability in animal health for a better future.” Moreover, the five-seater model is touted to empower the Zoetis personnel to continue their work in an efficient and environmentally responsible manner.
“We are honored to have Zoetis Philippines choose the Kicks e-Power in their journey towards sustainability. Nissan and Zoetis share a commitment to innovation and environmental stewardship, paving the way for a greener future,” Nissan Philippines President Yasuhusa Masuda said.
For those unaware, the e-Power system, which propels the Kicks crossover, uses a gasoline engine to generate energy for an electric motor. The said electric motor is the sole component driving the model’s wheels.
According to Nissan, such a system can result in a better fuel economy than traditional internal combustion-only vehicles. With less fuel being utilized to operate the Kicks, it also boasts less carbon dioxide emissions as well.
While touted as fuel-efficient, the crossover is relatively peppy as its e-Power system can generate up to 134 horsepower and 280 Newton-meters of torque.
Other notable features of the Kicks e-Power include an eight-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, leather upholstery, a seven-inch digital gauge cluster, an electronic parking brake, LED exterior lighting, cruise control, and a total of 835 liters of trunk space (rear seats folded).
The model also boasts a collection of advanced driver-assist systems collectively known as the Nissan Intelligent Mobility suite. The said suite includes a 360-degree monitor, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and hill-start assist.
The Philippine-spec Nissan Kicks e-Power is available with a price ranging from P1.179 million-P1.479 million across three variants.
