Things we like
|
Electric-driven, exhilarating SUV experience Efficient e-Power technology with high torque Diverse variants catering to varied preferences Advanced safety features for confident driving Limited edition Kickes e-POWER Sport with exclusive enhancements |
The new Toyota Rush is far more striking and modern to look at compared to the dull and old school looking previous generation model. With features like angular LED headlamps and front bold chrome grille at the front and sleek LED tail lamps at the rear, the new Toyota Rush is definitely a vehicle from present generation aimed at Gen-Y buyers. Not only this, the presence of side body cladding and roof rails do manage to add some macho appeal to the new Rush. With the presence of an additional third row of seats, the new Toyota Rush gives the flexibility of a seven-seater, which the previous generations of Rush simply didn’t offer. The two extra seats not only are able to accommodate two extra passengers but also aid in flexible seating configurations, opening up extra boot space as and when required. Apart from this flexibility in space, the new Toyota Rush also has few more bottle and cup holders in the cabin, thus increasing the practicality of it. Like all the other UVs from Toyota, the Rush feels solidly put together with indestructible build quality despite catering to entry-level buyers. This strong build and nice fit and finish make it reliable to use for a longer run. |
Things we don't like
|
Limited availability of charging stations |
As striking the new Toyota Rush looks on the outside, the interior cabin of the MUV feels very simple and could have styled in a much more modern and eye-catching manner. The dashboard feels very staid and boring for a car of this class, with a too subtle approach in designing the instrument console and center panel of the dashboard diluting the overall premium feel of the Rush on the inside. The 1.5-litre petrol engine with which the Toyota Rush is fitted with is not as exciting as the figures on paper. Thanks to its MUV stance, the power delivery from the engine feels linear, which seems comfortable but is not too involving in overall driving feel. |
