From The Experts
Things we like
|
The new Toyota Rush is far more striking and modern to look at compared to the dull and old school looking previous generation model. With features like angular LED headlamps and front bold chrome grille at the front and sleek LED tail lamps at the rear, the new Toyota Rush is definitely a vehicle from present generation aimed at Gen-Y buyers. Not only this, the presence of side body cladding and roof rails do manage to add some macho appeal to the new Rush. With the presence of an additional third row of seats, the new Toyota Rush gives the flexibility of a seven-seater, which the previous generations of Rush simply didn’t offer. The two extra seats not only are able to accommodate two extra passengers but also aid in flexible seating configurations, opening up extra boot space as and when required. Apart from this flexibility in space, the new Toyota Rush also has few more bottle and cup holders in the cabin, thus increasing the practicality of it. Like all the other UVs from Toyota, the Rush feels solidly put together with indestructible build quality despite catering to entry-level buyers. This strong build and nice fit and finish make it reliable to use for a longer run. |
Spacious interior: The Toyota Veloz offers a roomy interior with ample space for passengers and cargo, making it a great option for families or those who frequently carry larger items. Fuel efficiency: Equipped with a 1.5-liter engine, the Veloz provides a balance between power and fuel efficiency, making it a cost-effective option for daily driving. Versatile seating: The Veloz features flexible seating arrangements, allowing for various configurations to accommodate passengers and cargo as needed. Reliability: Toyota is known for its vehicles' reliability and durability, and the Veloz is no exception. This makes it a dependable choice for long-term ownership. Affordable pricing: The Toyota Veloz offers a competitive price point, making it an accessible option for those looking for a budget-friendly vehicle with good features. |
Things we don't like
|
As striking the new Toyota Rush looks on the outside, the interior cabin of the MUV feels very simple and could have styled in a much more modern and eye-catching manner. The dashboard feels very staid and boring for a car of this class, with a too subtle approach in designing the instrument console and center panel of the dashboard diluting the overall premium feel of the Rush on the inside. The 1.5-litre petrol engine with which the Toyota Rush is fitted with is not as exciting as the figures on paper. Thanks to its MUV stance, the power delivery from the engine feels linear, which seems comfortable but is not too involving in overall driving feel. |
Exterior design: Some may find the Veloz's exterior design to be less appealing than other models in its segment, as it does not have a particularly distinctive or aggressive look. Limited advanced features: The Veloz may lack some of the advanced technology and safety features available in competing models or higher-end Toyota vehicles. Performance: With only a 1.5-liter engine, the Veloz may not offer the same level of performance or driving excitement as some of its competitors with larger engines. Road noise: Some owners have reported that the Veloz can be noisy on the road, which could be a concern for those seeking a quieter driving experience. Interior material quality: Some customers may find the interior material quality of the Veloz to be less premium compared to its competitors, which could impact the overall perceived value and comfort. |
