From The Experts

Things we like

The Honda Beat is blessed with a sleek design language, which is quite helpful for those who are new to the experience of riding a two-wheeler. The slim profile, as well as sharp design, makes it a compact scooter to handle in the toughest of urban riding duties

For an entry-level scooter, the Honda Beat has got an eye-catching design, which gives it a good road presence. The sharply designed front apron with pointy headlamps and black theme for alloy wheels and engine do indeed make the Honda Beat look sporty

With a telescopic front suspension setup and lean design, the Honda Beat is one agile scooter to handle. The brilliant chassis is supported by the presence of great tyres which provide excellent road grip to it in all conditions.

The four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 110cc engine of the Honda Beat might be small, but with a maximum power output of 8.8 PS, it feels zippy and powerful on the go. Also, it is fuel-injected, so it feels quite refined and jerk-free as well

Things we don't like

The slim and compact design of the Honda Beat does eat up a significant amount of under-seat storage space, which is too compact to store a full-face helmet in it.

Since this is an entry-level scooter, the Honda Beat is not too generously equipped with modern features. The scooter does come with a part digital instrument console, however, its layout looks too simple and dated by today’s standards

Limited Power. Like the MIO i125, the MIO Gear may not have enough power for highway cruising or carrying heavy loads.

Minimal Features. It's a basic scooter, so it may lack some of the advanced features found in higher-end models.

Less Comfort for Longer Rides. The compact design and basic suspension may not provide the comfort needed for extended rides.
