2020 KTM XC-F and EXC models are here

MANILA: With 18-inch rear wheels, larger than before fuel tanks, and other updates, KTM has unleashed the 2020 models of its XC-F cross-country and EXC enduro lineups. After the two-stroke KTMs like 300 EXC and 250 EXC received fuel-injection in the recent past, the Austrian manufacturer now equipped its 150 EXC with the TPI tech as well.

The four-stroke XC-F models like 450, 350, and 250 have all got new graphics as a part of the 2020 update. Other additions and enhancements include new fork pistons for the 48 mm front air forks which feature 310 mm of travel and revisited WP XACT suspension setup. Moreover, both the 48 mm front forks and the rear monoshock which feature 300 mm of travel now come with new configurations for enhanced performance. There is also a new compression adjuster on the rear monoshock.

If we talk about the differences between the 2020 KTM EXC models (XC-W) and the XC cross-country bikes, the EXCs are more fitting for extreme terrain and tighter tracks thanks to different suspension settings, wide-gear ratios, lights, and the absence of rear suspension linkage. Not only the new EXC models come equipped with a 40 mm longer subframe and a redesigned frame to achieve enhanced torsional stiffness but also get upgraded engines and exhausts which has resulted in more power and torque.

KTM has updated pretty all the stuff on its bikes including bodywork, wiring harnesses, fuel tanks, suspension, airboxes, and radiators. Interestingly, the Six Days has also made a comeback to the 2020 KTM EXC-F lineup. In order to celebrate its 25th anniversary, the automobile manufacturer has also unveiled the 2020 KTM 300 EXC TPI ErzbergRodeo. Only 500 units of the special edition will be produced and the bike will come with unique graphics and PowerParts accessories. Regarding the new 2020 off-road models, KTM hasn’t disclosed the prices yet. The updated models should land on the Philippines shores after August 2019.
