The team's latest win comes as its second straight title for the event. The team bagged its second consecutive title with Jacopo Cerutti after he covered nearly 6,000 kilometers — crossing Morocco, Mauritania, and Senegal.

Per Aprilia, Cerutti took five stage victories and two podium finishes to secure the win.
Aside from that, the team also had notable recognitions at the races with other riders.

Francesco Montanari finished the competition with consistent improvements by having his first stage victory in the Africa Eco Race along with a total of three podiums.
Meanwhile, Marco Menichini (who had just made his debut with the Tuareg) took victory in the Junior Under 25 class, and finished third place in the multi-cylinder class. His performance placed him sixth overall.
In a statement, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer noted that the second straight title and the results achieved by all the riders confirmed the team’s “status as the absolute point of reference in big rally raid competitions.”

“The symbolic image of this edition took place when it arrived at the end of the sixth stage on the bare rim due to a problem with the tyre mousse – the demonstration of a practically unstoppable bike. Developed in collaboration with the Guareschi brothers’ GCorse, the Tuareg Rally has made significant progress in fine-tuning compared to last year, further confirmed by the partnership with Metzeler, and has once again shown its features of versatility, reliability, and high performance in an extreme competition like the Africa Eco Race,” Aprilia noted.
