BMW Motorrad PH sells 2,000 units in 2021, repeats as world's top importer

MANILA: BMW Motorrad Philippines had its best-ever year in 2021 in terms of sales. For the second year in a row, the Philippines is the world’s largest importer of BMW Motorrad, with 2,025 units sold.

Despite a challenging year in 2021, BMW Motorrad was able to achieve new heights not only in the Philippines, but all over the world. Local BMW Motorrad distributor SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp. is expected to continue this success story through 2022. BMW Motorrad promises even more exciting days ahead for its customers and aspiring riders with a growing lineup planned for the year.

The brand’s presence in various segments expanded due to a number of product introductions. The new R nineT models, 40 Years GS Edition Adventure bikes, F 750 GS and F 850 GS middleweight touring motorcycles, and the BMW M 1000 RR all debuted in 2021. These highlight the brand’s high innovative strength and passion for years to come.

BMW Motorrad Philippines has a lot of exciting plans for the future. In addition to the growing motorcycle lineup, customers may expect various activities for the growing community and events promoting on- and off-road safety, such as the BMW Motorrad Rider Training Program.

The brand is boosting its middleweight adventure touring lineup with the release of the BMW F 750 GS and BMW F 850 GS. BMW Motorrad aims to bring more riding experiences that will appeal to new riders and engage the active community in this segment.

The legendary S 1000 R, sought-after R 1250 GS and R 1250 GS Adventure, and renowned R 18 cruiser will all be available for test drives. The C 400 X and C 400 GT urban mobility scooters will also remain available.
