Ducati PH announces track day event to offer Panigale V4 experience
MANILA: Ducati Philippines has announced to organize an event to offer a taste of riding the Panigale V4 in its own environment for a chosen a group of media riders. It will be held on 21st to 23rd November on the Clark International Speedway.
Interestingly, Ducati has made the very first day of the event an open track day, wherein, it will allow 400 cc and above motorcycles of other brands as well.
The bike maker has also announced that Carlos Checa, the World Superbike Champion as well as the Ducati MotoGP rider will join in this three-day event. Accompanying him will be Rebecca Bianchi who is Women’s Supersport champion. TJ Alberto and Federico Sandi, who are the Ducati World Superbike Stock 1000 riders, will also mark their presence at the event. Dario Marchetti, the Ducati Riding Experience Lead Technical Manager, will supervise the track sessions. Various other world class racers along with the instructors will compete with each other along with the passionate riders who are going to take part in this event.
The general riders have to pay an entry fee of Php 1,500. Apart from getting the track time, they will gain an event shirt along with food and beverages. The riders will have to carry safety equipment like leather suits, properly rated helmets, ankle high race boots, and racing gloves.
The brand-new Panigale V4 is available in three different model options - Base, ‘Speciale’, and base versions. The motorcycle is equipped with a powerful engine, which is capable of pushing out a maximum of 214 hp along with a peak torque of 125 Nm. The base variant of the two-wheeler features Showa suspension, while Ohlins is present to handle the suspension duty in the other models.
