For customers looking for a sport-tourer, Suzuki Philippines offers the 2022 Suzuki GSX-S1000GT, which comes in three colors: Metallic Triton Blue, Metallic Reflective Blue, and Glass Sparkle Black.

One of the exciting new features of the Suzuki GSX-S1000GT is the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS), which includes a suite of cutting-edge electronic systems that improve operation, letting the rider modify performance characteristics to suit their riding style or level of experience.

Additionally, the SIRS makes the new GT more controllable, reliable, and enjoyable, whether traveling over long distances or taking a leisure ride around the neighborhood.

The ride-by-wire electronic throttle system on the new Suzuki GSX-S1000GT offers a smooth, intuitive, linear response to throttle operation and is simpler, lighter, and more compact than a mechanical throttle. The onboard 32-bit ECM's capacity to deliver precision control over throttle valve action also allows the integration of additional advanced systems that improve riding comfort and controllability.

Cruise control enables the rider to keep moving at a certain pace without operating the throttle. This helps to lessen fatigue when traveling long distances, especially when maintaining a constant speed on highways.

The rider may quickly adjust the speed setting up or down using the (+/-) select switch on the left handlebar. They can then confirm their selection on the TFT LCD instrument panel by pushing the RES button on the left handlebar switch. Cruise control can be adjusted between 30kph to 180kph when traveling at 2,000rpm in second gear or higher.

The exceptional stability provided by the Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS) allows for confident control with reduced strain and fatigue. With five incremental mode settings, the system can adapt to the diverse riding conditions in which a grand tourer is expected to thrive better, like riding alone or with a passenger, carrying a load of gear, or riding in bad weather.

The higher the mode set, the sooner the control takes effect and the more aggressively the system limits wheel spin.

The new Suzuki GSX-S1000GT is powered by a high-performance 999-cc four-stroke DOHC liquid-cooled inline-four engine, which completed a comprehensive review and update process to boost power output and provide an even better overall performance balance while meeting Euro 5 emissions standards.

The upgraded version offers superbike-level performance while reducing vibration to make riding more enjoyable, more comfortable, and less exhausting. Its broad, smooth torque curve, which has improved cumulative torque production, consistently generates a lot of power throughout the engine's operating range.

Each component of the chassis and running gear is engineered to provide the ideal mix of comfort, stability, and speed for an authentic grand touring experience. The compact, lightweight chassis design forms the foundation. The robust twin-spar aluminum frame and stringently braced aluminum-alloy swingarm are crucial for great road holding ability.

Agility and reliability are complemented with a sporty yet comfortable ride with the fully adjustable 43-mm KYB inverted front forks and link-type rear suspension. Carrying all of this to the road surface in conjunction with the suspension settings are six-spoke cast aluminum wheels with new Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 radial tires specifically made for the Suzuki GSX-S1000GT.

The tires feature a new internal construction with a carcass that was designed solely for the GT. They are calibrated to provide the right amount of rigidity for their weight and the riding conditions they will encounter. These new tires improve grip in wet conditions, warm up quicker, and have better wear resistance, thanks to the addition of a new compound and an improved tread design.

The Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS) aids in smoother deceleration when downshifting, with an additional assist function that boosts the clutch's clamping force under acceleration to enable the use of softer springs. As a result, operating the clutch lever with a light touch helps prevent left-hand fatigue on long rides, particularly when stuck in heavy traffic.

The rider has more control over steering and a more comfortable grip, thanks to longer handlebars placed closer to their body. The new seat design and the large space between the seat and footrests also provide an upright riding position that delivers comfort on long rides.

In order to fulfill the demands of high-speed touring, both in terms of dynamic performance and comfort, the new front cowl, windscreen, and mirrors have all been thoughtfully designed and put through a rigorous testing process.

The new windscreen design aims to optimize wind protection while maintaining the form's minimalism and appeal. Aside from redirecting wind away from the rider's head, the addition of folds along the sides also helps protect the rider's shoulders and knees.

The stylish new cowl-mounted mirror streamlines the airflow and lessens the force of the wind that impacts the rider's hands and knuckles. Additionally, the design requires less eye movement. The comfort that comes from protection from wind, rain, and cold allow the rider to focus on riding in order to fully appreciate the GT's exceptional performance on long rides.
