Frontier Tower Assoc. PH acquires 35 Segway Escooter units

MANILA: Frontier Tower Associates Philippines Incorporated, through a partnership with the Autohub Group and Segway Escooters Philippines, has acquired 35 all-electric scooters to enhance its operational mobility.

The Segway N100 is priced at P109,000.According to the leading telecommunication infrastructure company, it will use the aforementioned scooters to provide green mobility for its operational teams. Specifically, the 35 Segway units will allow for seamless travel between sites while reducing the company’s carbon footprint.
“This partnership is more than a move toward efficiency; it’s a commitment to sustainable practices,” Chief Executive Officer and Fround of Frontier Tower Associates Philippines Patrick Tangney said.
“Investing in electric mobility isn’t just about what we achieve today; it’s about the foundation we’re building for the future,” Tangney added.
Autohub Group President Willy Tee Ten, on the other hand, shared his thoughts on the long-lasting implications of the aforementioned partnership.
“The milestone with Frontier Tower and the introduction of Segway Escooters into their operations is a perfect embodiment of our philosophy to provide advanced solutions that enhance convenience and efficiency,” Tee Ten said.
To note, the Autohub Group is the official distributor of Segway Escooters for the Philippine market. Currently, it sells three different all-electric models: the N100, E110L, and the E300 SE.
The most premium of the three Segway nameplates is the E300 SE, and it is priced at P275,000. For propulsion, it uses a 7.8-kilowatt motor paired with a removable battery. It can output up to 13 horsepower, and it can cover a distance of up to 120 kilometers (km).
The most affordable Segway electric scooter, meanwhile, is the N100, which is priced at P109,000. Compared to its two siblings, it is a smaller unit capable of covering up to 69 km.
Sitting in the middle in terms of price is the E110L, which retails at P125,000. Per Segway’s local arm, the said model can cover up to 72 km.
All three Segway scooters come standard with notable features, such as electronic anti-lock braking systems, LED headlamp clusters, as well as front and rear disc brakes.
