MANILA: Harley-Davidson has introduced a portion of its motorcycle lineup for 2022. These models are being rolled out at Harley-Davidson dealerships in US today, January 7, and will be arriving at dealers around the world in the coming weeks.

Sport Category

The Harley-Davidson Sportster S is a performance cruiser motorcycle with amazing power, cutting-edge technology, and unrestricted style. The Sportster S model is driven by a 121-hp Revolution Max 1250T engine that provides uncompromising, on-demand torque to the rider. The snappy, intuitive handling is supported by a sleek, lightweight chassis and quality suspension. The Sportster S will be available in three colors: Vivid Black, White Sand Pearl, and Mineral Green Metallic.

Adventure Touring Category

The Pan America 1250 Special and Pan America 1250 adventure touring motorcycles have taken the ADV market by storm since its launch last year. In fact, the Pan America 1250 Special has become North America’s best-selling adventure touring motorcycle. It was also hailed as the Best Adventure Bike and Motorcycle of the Year by Motorcycle.com. The Pan America 1250 models are rugged, powerful, technologically advanced multi-purpose vehicles built from the ground up to help boost rider confidence and ignite the spirit of adventure on- and off-road. The vehicle hill hold control active time has been extended from 10 seconds to three to five minutes for the 2022 models. The TFT display screens also feature improved visibility of information. The Pan America 1250 Special is available in an exclusive Fastback Blue/White Sand color option.

Cruiser Category

Harley-Davidson offers a wide range of motorcycle styles within the Cruiser category, from classic to ultra-modern, allowing any rider to make a personal statement. A cruiser rider wants to disconnect from their increasingly hectic life, and only the world’s most sought-after motorcycle brand can provide them with so many options to do so. New paint colors are available across the Cruiser model lineup.

Softail Standard

This motorcycle is a perfect blank canvas for customization as it features a raw, stripped-down bobber appearance. Annihilator cast aluminum wheels with a silver finish replaced the laced wheels.

Heritage Classic 114

This motorcycle is the archetypal American cruiser, with show-stopping vintage embellishments and genuine rock and roll attitude. For 2022, a new Chrome trim option will be available for the Heritage Classic 114. Several new aesthetic elements have been added to the model with the Black trim. The upper rocker covers, camshaft cover, transmission cover, and primary cover are all Wrinkle Black, while the lower rocker covers are Gloss Black. Among the trim details are a Gloss Black rear lightbar, windshield brackets, front lightbar and turn signal standoffs, black mirrors and triple clamps, black anodized wheel hubs and hub cap, and Matte Black exhaust shields with chrome muffler tips. The Heritage Classic 114 model in Chrome trim comes with black nine-spoke cast aluminum or chrome laced wheels, while the Black trim is available with black nine-spoke cast aluminum or blacked laced wheels.

Street Bob 114

The Street Bob 114 is a gritty, stripped-down bobber wrapped in black and powered by a Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine, making it a great platform for performance-based customization. Annihilator cast aluminum wheels with gloss black finish replaced the laced wheels.

Fat Boy 114

The original fat-custom icon rules the road with a streamroller stance. The Lakester cast aluminum wheels have been restyled with 11 turbine-like spokes and an open center, while the original Fat Boy model tank emblem has been redesigned, with a single trailing “wing” while keeping the centered star.

Fat Bob 114

This motorcycle is for the street rider who is looking for strong power and performance. It has a new waterslide fuel tank graphic in an oval shape, with “H-D” on the lower edge.

Sport Glide

With Milwaukee-Eight 107 power, this motorcycle offers a great combination of cruising agility and long-distance touring capability. Hard saddlebags and a sleek detachable mini fairing can be removed easily for a stripped-down cruiser look, or added for comfort and versatility on a road trip. Precision handling and ride comfort are provided by inverted forks and a rear mono shock with external pre-load adjustment.

Breakout 114

This motorcycle brings long, lean muscle to the modern edge with the Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine. The raked-out look is inspired by drag racing, and this motorcycle talks the talk, with a massive 240-mm rear tire delivering plenty of torque. This bike stands out in the custom cruiser scene, thanks to exclusive Gasser II cast aluminum wheels and a riser-mounted digital gauge.

Forty-Eight

With a classic peanut tank and bulldog stance, this motorcycle features a hard-hitting fat-tire Sportster style.

Grand American Touring Category

Harley-Davidson’s Grand American Touring models are built for riders who are always looking for the next adventure. Grand American Touring models, from the brand that pioneered the cross-country experience, carry riders beyond the horizon with the comfort and convenience that makes the journey extraordinary. A smooth-running Milwaukee-Eight V-Twin engine powers all Harley-Davidson Grand American Touring models. Emulsion-technology rear shock absorbers have a single knob to adjust pre-load hydraulically for the best ride and control. The linear damping qualities of the 49-mm forks with dual bending valve suspension technology provide a smooth ride. Each Touring model comes standard with Reflex linked Brembo brakes with ABS.

Harley-Davidson’s cornering rider safety enhancements, which are standard on all Touring models except the Road King, will help the rider maintain their desired course in a curve. Electronically linked brakes, cornering-ABS, cornering-traction control with standard and rain mode, drag torque slip control, vehicle hold control, and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) are all included in the option package.

The 2022 Grand American Touring models will be available in new paint color options.

Road King

With neo-class chrome design and upgraded touring performance, this vehicle is a stripped-down highway legend. It is powered by a Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine.

Road King Special

This motorcycle is a custom bagger with top-tier power and a dominating presence for riders seeking hot rod performance with legendary Harley-Davidson style. It is equipped with a Daymaker LED headlamp, Prodigy custom wheels, and Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine.

Street Glide Special

The original slammed factory-custom bagger comes in a blacked-out or chrome finish and has highway-shredding power. It has a Daymaker LED headlamp, Boom! Box GTS infotainment system, Prodigy custom wheels, and Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine.

Road Glide Special

The frame-mounted, aerodynamic shark nose fairing sets the tone for this performance bagger, which is available in blacked-out and chrome finishes. Among its features are dual Daymaker LED headlamps, a Boom! Box GTS infotainment system, Prodigy custom wheels, and Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine.

Ultra Limited

This motorcycle is perfect for the rider who wants a fully loaded, premium touring experience without compromises. It has Tour-Pak luggage carrier, Boom! Box GTS infotainment system, heated hand grips, cruise control, Daymaker LED lighting, Slicer II custom wheels and Twin Cooled Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine.

Road Glide Limited

This model is a superior touring motorcycle, designed to go long distances with gear and a passenger. It comes with a frame-mounted, aerodynamic shark nose fairing with dual Daymaker LED headlamps, Tour-Pak luggage carrier, Boom! Box GTS infotainment system, heated hand grips, cruise control, Slicer II custom wheels, and Twin Cooled Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine.

Trike Category

Harley-Davidson Trike models offer riders the confidence boost of three wheels, as well as sufficient and convenient storage for road trips. Riders can rely on the performance of a Harley-Davidson trike chassis designed from the ground up. There are two Trike models for the 2022 lineup — Freewheeler and Tri Glide Ultra.

The Harley-Davidson Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) lineup for 2022 and more new Harley-Davidson motorcycle models will be officially unveiled on the “Further. Faster.” world premiere event on January 27 at 12 a.m.
