Hatasu PH highlights eco-friendly, affordable e-bike models
MANILA: Electric bike brand Hatasu aims to be one of the leaders in the transition to sustainable mobility in the Philippines by offering safe, reliable, and affordable electric two- and three-wheeler products.
Having been in the Philippine market for only almost a year, Hatasu has already established solid partnerships with some of the biggest automotive and technology dealers in the country. Hatasu e-bikes are currently offered in over 500 authorized dealer stores and nine concept stores across the Philippines.
To date, there are 10,000 Hatasu users in the Philippines.
“Our ultimate goal for Hatasu is not to simply sell ebikes, we want Hatasu to become a symbol of progress and sustainability, a driving force in the electric mobility landscape whilst ensuring accessibility to everyone,” Hatasu Philippines Chief Marketing Officer Austine Huang stated.
Hatasu Philippines’ two-wheeler models — the Kumi and the Nero — are designed for students and young professionals for convenient and sustainable short-distance trips to school or work. These can also be used by delivery riders as they come with a front basket where small parcels can be stored. The Kumi is priced at only P19,990, while the Nero retails for P28,990.
Meanwhile, the Mako and Mako 2 three-wheeler e-bikes are ideal for families. They can be used by parents to pick up their children from school or run errands. These can also be used as delivery vehicles as they come with ample storage solutions. Tricycle drivers may also use these electric three-wheeled vehicles as an alternative to save money on fuel. The Mako 2 is priced at P60,990.
Hatasu’s latest product, the Haru three-wheeler, is designed for beginners who are not yet confident to drive a two-wheeler. It also comes with a back seat to accommodate an additional passenger. The Haru retails for P36,990.
“As the brand builds its presence and influence in the market, we want to make sure that we are with our customers every step of the way. This is why we conduct extensive market research to understand the needs of our customers in order to produce purposeful and quality e-bikes that really meet their needs,” Hatasu Philippines Brand Director Jeannielyn Cheng said.
Hatasu Philippines is also set to launch a new model next month in time for its first anniversary.
