The Yamaha XSR900GP will be initially launched in Europe.To be initially launched in Europe, the XSR900GP is designed under the concept of “The Embodiment of Yamaha Racing History.” It has been created and calibrated to deliver agile handling and smooth performance on curving roads.
The XSR900GP is evocative of the Grand Prix factory machines of the 1980s, symbolizing the tradition and spirit that Yamaha has fostered in the most prestigious road races in the world.
Based on the XSR900, the new model is designed with separate handlebars, rearranged riding position, and brake hoses. The chassis rigidity, as well as the spring constant and damping characteristics of the front and rear suspensions, were also improved. The motorcycle is fitted with Bridgestone Batrax S23 tires.
For convenient riding, the XSR900GP is equipped with Yamaha Ride Control, cruise control, and five-inch full-color TFT meters with Type-C USBs.
Yamaha will also be bringing the XSR900GP at the International Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition in Milan, Italy on November 7. The new model will be officially launched in Japan next year.
