Engine
Powering the 2025 KTM 1390 Super Duke GT is the latest LC8 V-twin engine used by the 2024 KTM 1390 Super Duke R Evo. Per the Austrian motorcycle brand, the said powerplant benefits from the following enhancements:
- A centrally positioned ram air intake
- A redesigned air box
- A wider radiator
KTM noted that the 1350 cubic centimeter gasoline-fed mill also profits from revised gearing, which makes the fifth and sixth gears far more effective. As a result, the engine is said to allow the rider to make better use of its revolutions per minute range.
“The goal was clear: to create an exceptionally fast road bike with serious track ambitions, delivering peak performance in every scenario,” the company wrote in a press release.
Below are the performance figures of the 2025 KTM 1390 Super Duke GT:

Design
The 2025 KTM 1390 Super Duke GT is designed and engineered to look more muscular and aggressive than its forerunner. On that note, the Mattighofen-headquartered motorcycle marque gave it a sharper, snappier body.
At the fore is a powerful-looking fascia with its tall windshield proudly protecting the rider from the elements. Protruding on each side are turn signals.
It gets guards on each end of its aluminum handlebar and the side mirror shares the same robust character, which makes the motorcycle’s front end look like it can take a good beating.
“The Kiska design team has gone to work on every single angle, developing superior, more compact ergonomics that enable riders to spend long hours in the saddle, while also maintaining the opportunity to unleash its improved performance on track,” KTM said.
The side profile of the 2025 KTM 1390 Super Duke GT is fitted with angular-looking fairings that not only protect the motorcycle’s body but also appears to provide some aerodynamic advantage.
Its tubular frame is slightly exposed, which cradles some of the two-wheeler’s internal components like the aforementioned engine.
Also on its flanks are its metal foot pegs, Arkapovic-branded exhaust, and chain cover.
The rear end of the 2025 KTM 1390 Super Duke GT is adorned by a pointed tail with a protruding plate holder with integrated turn signals.
Chassis
The 2025 KTM 1390 Super Duke GT is built on a compact chassis. The said frame was said to have been designed to deliver increased torsional stiffness and a lower center of gravity over the outgoing model.
Complementing the said chassis is KTM’s WP Semi-Active Technology (SAT) suspension system comprised of a thru-rod construction-patented front fork with Pulse Width Modulation sensors — which the marque said offers finer and more responsive signals that measure both stroke travel and stroke acceleration — and a rear shock absorber with an electronically controlled pre-load adjuster and Dual Compression Control.
The motorcycle rides on 17-inch wheels with 120/70 series tire at the front and a 190/55 series tire at the rear.
Stopping power is facilitated by a set of four-piston Stylema monoblock calipers gripping 320 millimeter (mm) floating discs at the front and a Brembo twin-piston floating caliper with a 240 mm disc at the rear. In addition, the front brake is assisted by a new multi-click-system lever for increased adjustability.
Technology
Noticeable on the 2025 KTM 1390 Super Duke GT is its 8.8-inch thin-film transistor instrument cluster with smartphone connection capabilities.
Here, the rider can personalize his or her ride through the sports tourer’s various ride modes.
Its robust list of safety features include the likes of adaptive cruise control, brake assist, and distance assist.
KTM noted that the motorcycle is equipped with a Demo Mode. The said feature permits the rider to sample all the available tech in order to make an informed decision which tech pack best suits their needs for the two-wheeler’s first 1,500 kilometers.
Availability
The 2025 KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE GT was presented to attendees of the Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori — also referred to as EICMA — 2024.
While the said motorcycle is expected to be made available in major markets, KTM noted that it will not be sold in North America.
