Pinoy riders gear up for 2nd round of ARRC in May
MANILA: After April King Mascardo placed ninth in Round One, he stated that he needed to make improvements to compete against the Asia Road Racing Championship's (ARRC) highly skilled riders. He made those adjustments in a race that was up and down, with positions hardly defined until the final few laps. In Race Two, he improved from his previous performance and finished fifth.

The second round will take place at Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia from May 28 to 29.“For me, I’m just looking for time to get the pole for the last turn. That last turn was crazy; all the riders were in the slipstream. For round two in Malaysia, I will give my best again for the country,” Mascardo stated.
Meanwhile, Gian Carlo Mauricio did not finish in the first race, but he did finish 17th in the second. “After the start, I was really feeling that I could make it. I was going strong for four laps but had trouble with my bike. In Malaysia, I will still give my best to be part of the top 10.”
JE Inguito, on the other hand, remained consistent with a 10th-place finish after placing 11th in the previous race.
Mascardo is in seventh place overall after Round One, and he leads the Filipino riders into the second round, which will take place at Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia from May 28 to 29.
