See the Harley-Davidson 2020 Electra Glide Standard first-hand at the Orange & Black Tag event
MANILA: Harley-Davidson Philippines just released a 2020 model motorcycle portfolio, included is the Electra Glide Standard perfect for touring purists. It will be on display on all authorized Harley-Davidson showrooms in the Philippines.
The new Electra Glide Standard is the “Dressed down Dresser,” according to Harley-Davidson. Designed for the touring purists, it features minimalist technology that allows the rider to disconnect from monitors and gadgets so you can focus on enjoying your ride.
According to Johan Kleinsteuber, Managing Director, Harley-Davidson Asia Emerging Markets, “the passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles in the Philippines is growing and the new 2020 line-up will surely please those looking to hit the road with an impressive new machine…We leverage our unmatched ability to blend style, performance, and technology in products designed to elevate the motorcycling experience.”
The 2020 Electra Glide Standard features traditional gauges and minimal features like electronic cruise control and a glove box instead of an audio system. But just because it’s a minimalist bike does not mean it compromises on design and safety features. In fact, the new Harley-Davidson motorcycles features a Reflex linked Brembo brakes with standard ABS to help prevent the wheels from locking when braking to help the rider in maintain control when braking;
a batwing fairing with split stream vent not only adds an aggressive look to the bike but also delivers smooth airflow and reduces head buffeting; the mid-height windshield gives added protection to the rider against the elements; emulsion-technology rear shock absorbers for a smoother ride; a 49mm front forks with dual bending valve suspension helps keeps the rider in full control; while the solo touring seat was built to keep the rider comfortable on those long-haul rides.
In terms of performance, the Electra Glide Standard is powered by a Milwaukee-Eight 107 V-Twin Engine, capable of delivering 150 Nm of torque at 3,250 rpm. And since Harley-Davidson doesn’t like boring, it gives you the power to customize their motorcycles according to your personality through a plethora of accessories to make it truly stand out.
The new Electra Glide Standard comes with a starting price of Php 1.5 million. And you can have a first look at it on the Orange & Black Tag event happening on November 23-24 in all authorized Harley-Davidson showrooms in the Philippines.
