Suzuki inks partnership with AFAZ
MANILA: Suzuki announced that it has signed a partnership with Malaysian motorcycle brand AFAZ.

Suzuki said that AFAZ is owned by KMSB Motors Sdn. Bhd, a group company of AFY Mobility Industries Sdn. Bhd, which is the sole shareholder of Suzuki Malaysia.Per the Japanese motorbike company, it will supply AFAZ with engine and body parts for models in the 110 cubic centimeter (cc) and 150cc category. The parts will come from Suzuki’s Southeast Asian facilities with distribution commencing in 2024.
“In addition to sales of motorcycles, Suzuki would like to contribute to the expansion and prosperity of the Malaysian motorcycle market and industry through supplying parts to KMSB,” Suzuki President Toshihiro Suzuki commented.
AFAZ is owned by KMSB Motors Sdn. Bhd. KMSB is a group company of AFY Mobility Industries Sdn. Bhd — a sole shareholder of Suzuki Malaysia — which produces and sells Suzuki brand motorcycles in the country.
The partnership was made official through a contract signing ceremony held at the Prime Minister’s Office of Malaysia on September 15. The event was attended by the Prime Minister, Honorable Dato’ Seri Anwar bin as well as KMSB President Faez Yahaya and Suzuki’s head honcho.
