Suzuki PH highlights aftersales support, product lineup at premier Moto Fest

MANILA: Suzuki Philippines Incorporated (SPI) has shown off the strength of its aftersales capabilities and its small displacement model lineup at the first-ever Suzuki Moto Fest held at SM City Calamba in Laguna. 

Specifically, the event saw hundreds of Suzuki motorcycle owners treat their respective rides to a free periodic maintenance service using Ecstar R5000 oil.

Numerous attendees likewise lined up to test ride the motorcycle brand’s models, such as the Suzuki V-Strom 250SX, Burgman Street 125 EX, Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF250, Raider R150 FI, Smash FI, Avenis, and many other nameplates. 

Test drive participants were allowed to take said models for a spin through a short course around the event grounds. 

As an additional high point of the event, SPH Safety Officer and Club Relations Supervisor Noel Villapando likewise conducted a free road safety seminar for the guests of the Suzuki Moto Fest.

At the said activity, the riding expert covered all riding basics, ranging from proper gear, proper cornering, rider posture, right of way, and proper way to use brakes - among other topics. 

Moreover, the event highlighted the notable aftermarket presence of the Japanese motorcycle brand through a custom bike contest featuring the Raider R150 FI and the Raider R150 Carburetor. 

Other notable activities at the 2024 Suzuki Moto Fest included booth games with Suzuki-branded prizes, meet-and-greets with popular moto vloggers, an interschool dance competition, live musical performances, and a grand raffle contest with a Burgman Street as the grand prize. 

Beyond the first-ever Suzuki Moto Fest, SPH’s next big activity will be the “Gixxer ExXperience” to be held at Tagum City, Davao Del Norte, from December 7-8, 2024. The motorcycle marque is also holding an online Facebook reel contest set to showcase the beloved rides of Suzuki owners and their goals for the New Year.
