MANILA: Suzuki Philippines (SPH) has launched a free service campaign for motorcycle owners whose rides were damaged by Typhoon Carina.

The initiative offers a 30-percent discount on select bike parts, including oil filters, oil filter covers, o-rings, drain plug gaskets, and air filter elements. More importantly, the program provides a free change oil service with one free Ecstar Oil R5000 motorcycle engine oil and a free check-up.

Being a part of the Suzuki Helps, Aids, and REbuilds (SHARE) corporate social responsibility program, the free service campaign is the brand’s way of showing solidarity with communities affected by the recent typhoon.
To be more specific, it is seen by the Japanese marque to benefit the countless individuals and families who have been struggling to make ends meet after the typhoon damaged their primary means of transport and livelihoods.
“We sympathize with our customers in the wake of this typhoon,” the Marketing Department Head and Assistant to the Division Head of SPH Daigo Morikawa said.
“By offering this free service campaign, we hope to alleviate some of the burden and provide much-needed assistance to those affected,” Morikawa added.
In the Philippines, SPH’s notable motorcycle models include the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 EX, Avenis, Gixxer F1, Raider 150 Fi, V-Strom 800 DE, and Smash Carb, among others.
