Suzuki PH to unveil new offering in Q4 2024

SPH's lineup under the small-displacement backbone category is currently made up of the V-Strom 250SX, Gixxer Fi, 250, and SF250.SPH Motorcycle Marketing Communications Group Head Edelyn Yanilla shared the plan, saying that the motorcycle will arrive sometime in the fourth quarter of 2024. She stayed mum on what the upcoming vehicle would be.
Upon checking the company's list offerings posted on its website, Zigwheels Philippines is guessing that the upcoming two-wheeler might be joining SPH’s small displacement backbone category as the offering is limited in the division and could use an update. Whether it would be a new nameplate or an additional variant is still up in the air.
The youngest would be the Suzuki V-Strom 250SX, which was launched in October 2022. The model that expanded the local V-Strom lineup. It is powered by a 249-cubic centimeter (cc), four-stroke, single-cylinder, four-valve, fuel injected, single overhead cam (SOHC) engine paired with a six-speed constant mesh transmission. Its current price is at P229,000.
In late 2020, SPH brought to the country the Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF250. Just like the V-Strom 250SX, both models are equipped with a 250-cc, SOHC, oil-cooled, four-valve, fuel injected engine matched to a six-speed constant mesh transmission. The former wears a P182,900-price tag while the latter, P192,900.
Lastly, the Gixxer Fi is considered as SPH’s longest-staying nameplate in the small-displacement backbone roster. The aforementioned nameplate comes with a four-stroke, single-cylinder SOHC, two-valve 155cc mill mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The most affordable among the lineup, its price stands at P104,900.
