Suzuki PH turns 35
MANILA: The local subsidiary of Suzuki in the Philippines celebrates its 35th year selling the brand's outboard motors, automobiles, and motorcycles.
Suzuki Motorcycle effectively dominated the underbone sector with the Smash. The company has 68 dealership groups and a chain of 3,079 shops, as it claimed to be the top company selling underbone in the leisure category and the Raider R150, known as the "Underbone King" since it was the top-selling model in the underbone sport category. Both motorcycle models have sold double their competitors for the past years.
Suzuki automobiles have gradually gained a solid market share here, registering 21.17% rise in sales across all quarters in 2019. This increase in sales was the result of the aggressive efforts of Suzuki in 2019. Also, Suzuki jumped three places and ranked fifth in the Philippine automobile market, with the Celerio, Vitara, and Ertiga being some of the most popular vehicles in the car industry for this year.
Outboard Motor or Marine Company is the newest addition to Suzuki Philippines. It registered a revenue growth of 205% in 2019, with a total of six dealerships.
Suzuki Philippines promises to consistently participate and persevere in the community it is recently experiencing a global speed bump like many other companies.
The anniversary of Suzuki is centered on the theme “Suzuki 2020: The Perfect Vision — Leading Transformative Growth Beyond Borders.” With the rapidly rising and constantly evolving motorcycle market in the Philippines, Suzuki still sees 2020 with an optimistic vision to be a better year. The company promises to work closely with its dealers for the improvement of its auto sales. This will be done through capitalization on its lineup of old and new two-wheeled vehicles, which customers patronize due to riding pleasure, efficiency, power delivery, and versatility.
