MANILA: Mitsukoshi Motors Philippines Incorporated (MMPI), the official distributor of SYM motorcycles in the Philippines, has launched the SYM Jet X 150.

Features

The SYM Jet X 150 is designed with an all-LED lighting system, 14-inch wheels equipped with robust city tires, premium non-slip seats, a decent-sized utility box that can fit a half-face helmet, and pillion ride step bars that seem to be a part of the scooter’s side fairings when folded.

The SYM Jet X 150 is also equipped with a full-digital instrument panel, an illuminated keyless ignition system, and a small glove compartment with a USB port inside.

The SYM Jet X 150 is powered by a four-valve, 150cc liquid-cooled engine paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). It produces 12.3hp and 12Nm of torque.

The SYM Jet X 150 comes with front and rear disc brakes, as well as SYM’s combi brake system. In terms of suspension, the SYM Jet X 150 has telescopic forks up front and adjustable dual shock absorbers at the rear.

Price

The SYM Jet X 150 is priced at P135,800. It is more expensive than the popular scooters in the local market, the Honda Airblade 160 which retails for P125,900 and the Yamaha Aerox 155 priced at P124,000.
