TVS Motor Company improves global sales by 5% in Jun. 2024

MANILA: TVS Motor Company has seen a five-percent growth in its overall global sales for the month of June.

According to the Indian motorcycle marque, it sold a total of 333,646 units last month whereas it sold 316,411 units in the same month last year.

Broken down, the said figure translated to a registered growth of six percent in its two-wheelers at 322,168 units in June 2024 (304,401 units in June 2023).

Further cracking the data down, TVS Motor Company revealed that of the said number, 255,734 units were sold domestically.

Still within the two-wheeler segment, TVS motorcycles saw a jump of three percent in sales for the month of June with a total number of recorded transactions at 152,701 units (148,208 units in June 2023). Likewise, its scooter sales moved by six percent from 121,364 units in June 2023 to 128,986 units in June 2024.

TVS Motor Company also has electric vehicles in its global roster in the form of battery-powered scooters. Sales of which improved by 10 percent at 15,859 units (14,462 units in June 2023).

TVS Motor Company has been making small but significant steps in the Philippine motorcycle industry since its arrival.

Sometime in 2021, it launched the Apache RR310 and Ntorq 125. Last year, it released the all-new Apache RTR 310. Recently, it introduced the all-electric iQube to the market.

The company’s roster also offers various budget-friendly models like the Rockz, Dazz, and Max4R.
