TVS X Electric Scooter Makes Global Debut in India

MANILA: TVS Motor Company has unveiled the much-awaited TVS X, its flagship crossover electric scooter with a number of industry-first features.

With its spectacular design, unrivaled performance, and innovative technology features, the TVS X establishes a new standard in the global electric mobility sector. As a pioneer in eco-friendly mobility solutions, TVS Motor Company wants to revolutionize the electric scooter market and reinforce its commitment to a cleaner and greener future.

Built on rider-first engineering to provide rider-machine synergy, the TVS X was created from the ground up at TVS Motor's R&D facility. The TVS X is an Indian-designed, developed, and manufactured vehicle that has a powerful electric motor and cutting-edge battery technology. The TVS X is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor that produces a maximum power of 15ps and a maximum torque of 40Nm. It can accelerate from a standstill to 40kph in just 2.6 seconds.

It has one of the best high-performance battery packs in its segment, delivering 4.44kWh of installed capacity energy. TVS Motor's Battery Management System guarantees safe operation and improves the lifespan of the cells by constantly monitoring current flow. There is a Smart X Home rapid charger available for the TVS X, providing 0 to 50% charge in 50 minutes. Meanwhile, the portable charger provides 0 to 80% charge in four hours and 30 minutes.

The TVS X is instinctive, modular, and easy to use since it is built on software platforms and technology that are based on best-in-class open source framework and components.

It is equipped with a 10.2-inch HD+ TFT touchscreen, TVS NavPro onboard navigation system, and proactive safety features like crash alert and tow alert.
