McKinley Kyle Paz, April King Mascardo, and Gian Carlo Mauricio were present during the YMPH FastFest.The two-day program kicked off with a test ride of the new Yamaha Sniper 155 and the Aerox 155 sporty scooter at Block 16 parking lot in the SM Mall of Asia complex.
A 431-meter track was laid out by YMPH for participants to try out its latest small-displacement motorcycles. It had eight turns and a long straightaway that allowed those testing out the new Sniper 155 to run around the circuit for three laps.
After members of the motoring media and motovloggers had their hands on the new Yamaha Sniper 155, professional motorcycle race riders from the Yamaha Philippines Racing Team (McKinley Kyle Paz, April King Mascardo, Gian Carlo Mauricio, and Justinne Bethany Allanne Tolentino) showed the audiences how its done.
Soon after, Paz, Mascardo, and Mauricio went to the stage and spoke fondly about their history with the Yamaha Sniper nameplate. They also shared their excitement about the latest version of the underbone motorcycle.
YMPH also brought in Nik Makino, who sang the original soundtrack of Yamaha Racing Philippines dubbed "Creating Champions."
The Yamaha FastFest also had a Moto Trainer (a MotoGP Simulator) booth and two Lean Angle Experience installations where attendees had the chance to take pictures atop the inclined motorcycles mimicking racetrack cornering.
Yamaha also held a speed contest with the Dyno Shootout. It measured who had the fastest Yamaha Sniper and Mio Aerox based on top horsepower and torque. Winners received an all-expense paid trip to witness the MotoGP Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia on September 27-29.
“Yamaha continues to push the limits of their machines to deliver the best possible motorcycle. Whether its for riding above the rest every day or creating champions on the racetrack Yamaha will, without question, unlock your speed,” Yamaha wrote in a press release.
