MANILA: Yamaha Motor Company has updated its Ténéré adventure lineup, which is currently being showcased at the ongoing Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori (EICMA) 2024.

    Upgraded Yamaha Ténéré 700

    The standard Yamaha Ténéré 700 now gets a new 6.3-inch thin-film transistor instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity. Installed onto its handlebars are new switchgear and turn signals.

    Riders will get to sit on a new one-piece rally-style seat, while the pillion will enjoy larger footrests. The new Yamaha Ténéré 700 also gets a new fuel tank, which can accommodate up to 16 liters of gasoline. It has been positioned lower for better balance and handling.

    Further, it now has a new suspension system with an inverted fork at the fore and a rally-inspired shock with a revised progressive linkage at the rear.

    Lastly, would-be owners benefit from its updated side stand switch.

    New Yamaha Ténéré 700 Rally

    As for the new Yamaha Ténéré 700 Rally, it gets all the upgrades enjoyed by the standard Ténéré 700 but improves one’s experience with taller KYB suspensions with the front fork boasting an extra 20 millimeter (mm) stroke for 230mm front travel and a 255mm ground clearance.

    It also gets a heavy-duty aluminum skid plate, lightweight titanium footrests, and a dedicated rally seat.

    Further, the updated Yamaha Ténéré 700 Rally comes with a heritage livery, which pays homage to classic Ténéré models.
