Ferrari GTC4Lusso Interior & Features
The interior of the Lusso is as classy as it gets. The leather finishing on the seats looks very subtle and compliments the interior of this car. As an added feature, the seat belt on this car, which is otherwise a bit difficult to access given the unusual shape of the car, is delivered to you by a retractor. The steering wheel is almost similar to that of a Formula One car with most of the car controls on it. The instrument cluster consists of a tachometer at its centre with two screens on either side of it. On the left screen, you can adjust various settings of your vehicle via a small dial provided just below it. Similarly, you can change the settings on the right-side screen which displays mainly the media, navigation, and speedometer. The circular AC vents and their control buttons feel a bit old school on such an expensive sports car. The infotainment screen is big enough and very easy to operate. The centre console lid, when opened, reveals decent storage space. There are also a few perks of sitting on the passenger seat of a GTC4Lusso. The passenger gets his own small screen on which he can change the media or monitor the car’s speed, current gear and driving mode. The rear row of seats feels a bit cramped but they do get their own cup holders, charging points and AC vents.
GTC4Lusso Exterior
The GTC4Lusso has a very unique design which is almost similar to its predecessor. The elongated bonnet along with a roof that slopes down on the trunk, give it a streamlined shape, which also proves to be a refined version of the shooting brake coupe. The front end hosts a single grille which acts as a symbol of power when coupled with the prancing horse at its centre. The side panels on this car boast carbon-fibre vents that multiply its sporty look by a large number. The rear end is emboldened by Ferrari’s signature twin tail lights that are something to crave for. The trunk can be remotely opened and closes at the push of a button. The space inside the trunk is a bit low and unusual as there is a step in the boot floor which makes loading luggage a bit troublesome, but you can always create more space by folding down the rear seats. You do not get wipers for the rear window which makes it difficult to drive in the rainy season.
Ferrari GTC4Lusso Ride & Handling
The Lusso handles very well when it comes to driving in the urban areas. The transmission is pretty smooth for a car of this size and the sound of the revving engine is very soothing and can be heard distinctly even at low rpm. The three driving modes – Wet, Comfort and Race, help you to efficiently tackle any surface by providing suitable traction control and stability.
GTC4Lusso Engine & Fuel Consumption
Under the hood, the Lusso wields 6.3-litre V12 engine that can generate a maximum power of 700 hp and a peak torque of 697 Nm. The naturally aspirated engine coupled with the cars automatic transmission can take it to a maximum speed of 335 kmph.
Ferrari GTC4Lusso Braking & Safety
The GTC4 has a number of safety features that include Vehicle Stability and Control System, crash sensors, Anti-lock braking safety with electronic brake distribution and brake assist. The front row of seats is equipped with airbags and the driver can adjust the settings of the suspension and traction to provide stability during bumpy and slippery terrains.
GTC4Lusso Verdict
This car was designed to be drivable every single day and it definitely lives up to its expectations. In the Philippine market, it is priced at Php 16.04 Million which might look expensive but the performance, luxury, and other creature comforts offered by this car are just way too much to be ignored for a four-seater grand tourer.
