The exterior of the Ford Bronco Outer Banks does pay homage to the original Ford Bronco from the yesteryears with some throwback elements in the design. The same goes with the cabin layout too, with the interior of the SUV having a few design elements from the original SUV, while also having a myriad of new-age features.  

The driver’s cockpit of the Ford Bronco Outer Banks has an 8-inch full-TFT instrument console behind the T-themed, leather-wrapped, tilt and telescopic adjustable, multi-functional steering wheel for its driver’s cockpit. The centre console is dominated by a huge 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system flanked by vertically aligned AC vents.

The cabin of the Ford Bronco Outer Banks feels robustly built, with it having contemporary features like leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate, Type-A and Type-C charging ports, twin 12V power outlets, a 220V power outlet, heated and electrically-adjustable front seats, (10-way powered driver’s seat and 8-way powered co-driver’s seat), wireless charger and 60:40 split rear seats with centre armrest and cup holders. 

The Ford Bronco, in its Outer Banks avatar, is a rugged-looking SUV with a boxy design and upright stance, giving it an old-school flavour. The front profile of the Bronco has rounded LED headlamps with integrated LED DRL strips that stretch towards the white-coloured Bronco badge spread across the black-painted grille in the middle. The off-road-spec front bumper of the Bronco has tapered edges for better off-road driving clearances while having rounded fog lamps integrated into its corners. 

Available in a five-door form as standard, the Ford Bronco has a carbonized grey moulded in-colour hard top with sound deadening headliner. With mud-terrain 35-inch tyres wrapped over 17-inch black-coloured Beadlock capable wheels and high-clearance fender flares, the muscularity of the Ford Bronco only gets better. The rear profile of the Ford Bronco Outer Banks has a tailgate-mounted spare wheel with vertically-laid LED tail lamps on the sides. 

Apart from the very effective four-wheel drive system, the Ford Bronco Outer Banks also comes with a high-performance off-road stability suspension setup with BILSTEIN position-sensitive shock absorbers at both the ends and 35-inch mud-terrain tyres over the 17-inch Beadlock alloy wheels. The Terrain Management System of the Ford Bronco Outer Banks has G.O.A.T. modes like Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, Mud/Ruts and Sand. The Bronco also has a high ground clearance of 292mm and a water wading capacity of 850mm. 

In the Outer Banks version on sale in the Philippines car market, the Ford Bronco comes standard with a 2.7-litre V6 Ecoboost petrol engine, which is coupled to a 10-speed automatic transmission and churns out a maximum power output of 335 PS and a maximum torque output of 555 Nm. The Ford Bronco Outer Banks also comes with an advanced four-wheel drive system with automatic on-demand engagement for flawless off-roading. 

The Ford Bronco Outer Banks has a lot of safety features on offer, including front, side and curtain airbags, ABS with EBD, roll stability control, electronic traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system and front and rear parking sensors. The Ford Co-Pilot360 package of ADAS features on offer in the Bronco includes Auto High-Beam Headlamps, Hill Start Assist, Forward Collision Warning, Dynamic Brake Support, Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert, Post-Collison Braking, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Pedestrian Detection and Lane-Keeping System (Lane-Keeping Alert, Lane-Keeping Aid & Driver Alert).
