At the front, the Ford F-150 greets you with its mammoth front fascia, comprised of a wide front grille with two horizontal bars in the middle of it (chrome finished in Platinum, body colored in Lariat). The far end extensions of the front grille end up with large C-shaped LED headlamps split into two parts, both of which do get prominent daytime running LEDs. The front bumper with its block themed design including rectangular fog lamps completes the macho front look of the F-150.

The side profile of the Ford F-150 looks gargantuan with angular pillars and squared-off design. The rounded and flared wheel arches over the large 20-inch wheels and the kinked design in the midway of the window waistline add some character to the otherwise plain-looking side profile of the Ford F-150.

At the back, the Ford F-150 gets a simple deck lid, which ends up with vertical tail lamp assembly, which just like the front headlamps, are given a C-shaped theme with partitioned lights and LED inserts.

The Ford F-150 is capable of conquering terrains and tough roads with ample confidence, which is all down to the very finely tuned chassis and suspension as well as non-limited slip differential. For a pickup which weighs and measures extra large in every sense, the Ford F-150 has got decent driving dynamics, staying true to its Ford DNA.

The Ford F-150 made available for the Philippines market skips out on the mammoth V8 powertrains of the USA, and instead, gets a smaller 3.5-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine coupled to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The engine is good enough to propel this pickup truck with a maximum power output of 380 PS and a peak torque output of 637 Nm.

The Ford F-150 has been decently armed with safety kit including front, side and curtain airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, roll stability control, front and rear parking sensors, reverse camera, hill start assist, hill hold control, traction control, electronic stability control and tire pressure monitoring system.

The Ford F-150, with all the traditional American flavor of having a big and butch looking design complemented with premium bits in and out, has got a tremendous road presence and feel on the inside. It is not for everyone though, as the vehicle is slightly tougher to maneuver in city traffic and is not fuel-efficient too.
