  • About Lexus Philippines

    Founded in 1989, Lexus’ starting ground was seen a few years prior when the then Toyota Motors Chairman Eiji Toyoda challenged the global automotive scene in 1983. The challenge was to build the world’s best car. 

    His proposal paved the way for his Toyota Team to come up with a secret project, which was code-named “Project F1 (Flagship One)”. When it was completed, the resulting car was unveiled in the 1989 North American International Auto Show in Detroit USA. 

    They dubbed it as the Lexus LS 400, thus prompting a new contender in the luxury segment of the global automotive beat, and giving light to the Japanese-American car maker we now know today – Toyota Motor’s sister-company, Lexus.

    20 years later in January 2009, Lexus finally came in the Philippines, and with it came an uplifting of the nation’s spirit in the luxury automotive segment. Known as Lexus Manila, it only has one dealer, which only adds up to its signature aura of exclusivity.

    Located at the heart of the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, Lexus Manila boasts itself with one of the most relaxing showrooms an automotive manufacturer can offer. Evoking a Zen-like atmosphere, its indoor garden, wooden floorings, and walls, give customers a cool, calm, and collected aura.

    Its success in the Philippine motoring industry is due to its team of pleasing, professional, and warming staff, and its line of luxurious models like the IS Series of luxury sedans, followed by the ES, GS, and the LS. Lexus Manila also has its line of luxury SUVs like the RX, GX, LX, and the recently-launched NX Series.

    As of 2019, Lexus recently announced that it set a new record for global sales with a total of 765,330 units sold from January to December 2019. This is a 10-per cent increase as compared to global sales in 2018.
