I decided to switch to a plug-in hybrid, and after test-driving various cars, I decided to buy the Mazda CX-60. It is a wonderful alternative to premium HEVs from Audi and BMW. Initially, I was very happy with this car, but slowly and gradually, its performance started deteriorating. On a full charge, it claims around 39 miles, but I have never got more than 25 miles. If you're a high-mileage motorway driver, you should opt for the diesel option, but if your motoring is largely urban, thea PHEV will suit you.
