Rest of the petrol variants houses a 2996 cc, 3498cc and  3498cc six-CYL  ( E320, E350, E400) and 4663cc eight-cylinder (E500) mill which gives maximum power in the range  of 272 to 408 hp and maximum torque in the range of 400 to 600 Nm. As for the transmission system, the 6-speed manual transmission is standard for 4-cylinder diesel and E 200, while the 7G-TRONIC PLUS is standard for the E 250 plus all V6 and V8 petrol engine and is optional for E 200 and the 9G-TRONIC is standard for E 350 BlueTEC and optional for E 220 BlueTEC and E 250 BlueTEC. The combined fuel consumption of 6.1 to 11.9 can be found the petrol variants and 3.6 to 6.1 in the diesel trims.
