Mercedes is a fortune in itself, it is a benchmark of success, an aspiration for the middle class working man and a necessity for the elite. Such is the aura created and preserved by this marque since generations. In 1990, this German marque decided to step into luxury 4x4 segment and partnered up with Mitsubishi to design the revolutionary M Class in 1991. The road to success has not been so smooth, the car received heavy criticism for poor material quality and lack of innovation upon inception but it wasn't till 2005 till these issues were addressed and the sports SUV entered a phase of applause and appreciation which has set a legacy a decade after.

When you are done being mesmerized by its exteriors and step inside, you have no time to relax, you are in a world of its own inside a box. It's a world of calm, a world of sophistication and a world of imminent panache. The seats are finely stitched Nappa leather, and there is world of comfort waiting for you with Keyless-Go drive authorization system, Panoramic sliding sunroof, multi-functional steering wheel (Bluetooth control, cruise control, audio/video interface) and climatized seats. On the technological aspects you can customize your drive with a Harmon Kardon 7 surround-sound system, rear seat entertainment system, COMAND online multimedia system, Becker MAP PILOT system, all available as optional. As standard you get a 7 inch touchscreen, 6-speakers, USB, Bluetooth compatibility etc. The boot space as standard measures a massive 690 litres which can be enhanced to 2010 litres with 60:40 arrangement.
M Class Exterior
The impeccable styling flown across the entire giant is as rugged and strong as it is elegant with body lines defining contours of an overall robust and masculine figure. LED daytime lamps are integrated in the bumper up front and strong power-domes at the front on the bonnet provide the drive with an overall strong stature. There is a large roof spoiler on the rear, lower roof height at the back, the tailgate also sports LED fibre optics. The trademark Mercedes styling has been kept intact and a pinch of futuristic refinement has been added to it to make a masterpiece. Overall dimensions of M Class measure 4804mm x 1926mm x 1796mm (L x W x H) and the wheelbase of 2915mm is more than sufficient for a highly comfortable ride.

Across trim levels and engines appointed this heavily decorated and luxury SUV is delivered in 4 trim levels – ML 250, ML 350 4MATIC. ML 350 BlueEfficiency (for reduced carbon emissions) and the all sport ML 63 AMG. All the variants are 4x4 powered, and the engine strength has a range of 2.0-litre to a massive 5.5-litre in ML 63 AMG. The power output ranges between a mediocre 150 KW to a huge 386 KW between 4200 to 5750 rpm. This shows practicality, not just power and depicts that despite the huge stature the drive has been designed in accordance with user needs and preferences. The inline torque ranges between 500 to 700 Nm between 1600 to 5000 rpm providing a good off-roading strength to the drive. Looking for efficiency? ML 250 should be your pick, delivering 9.5 kmpl despite its mammoth presence. Looking for raw power and performance? All sport AMG accelerates 0-100 kmph in just 4.8 seconds with an electronically limited speed of 250 kmph.
M Class Braking & Safety
To ensure maximum safety amidst this huge and fast drive there is an Electronic Stability Programme, Attention Assist, Brake Assist and the Active Parking Assist which ensures maximum safety of the passengers.
