The interior of the NP300 Navara retains its premium design from the previous generation. There are a few subtle updates that significantly enhance the overall ride experience. The dashboard design comes with an expansive feel and a gentle sweeping style from the center panel to the door, incorporating 3-dimensional sections. Nissan has also cleverly included functional trays and storage spaces on the dashboard for convenient device and personal item storage.

It gets a new multi-information display and upgraded instrument clusters. The redesigned steering wheel which is leather-wrapped on the top-tier Pro-4X,  with a sleek black Nissan logo gives the cabin a sporty appeal. The Navara EV trim comes with an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, complemented by a 6-speaker system and a sizable trip meter. 

Across all variants, the Zero Gravity front seats bring comfort, each with distinct upholstery and adjustment options. All other trims feature a blend of leather and fabric seat designs. It also gets a rear center armrest with dual cup holders.

On the outside, the Nissan NP300 is an absolute stunner of a pickup. The top-spec Pro 4X AT 4x4 variant takes the exterior to the next level, with the unique Pro-4X exterior trim options. The variant also features quad-projector LED headlamps and LED fog lamps. You get the option of 17” or 18” alloys depending upon the variant you choose. 

The latest generation model has definitely been refreshed to a great extent as well. The NP300 Navara's front design gives it a commanding presence with a larger chrome grille and redefined edges. Updates across the front and rear also include refreshed bumpers, headlights, taillights, and rear tailgate.

Nissan has upgraded the lighting system across almost every variant to advanced LED technology, including Quad LED Projector lights with Follow Me Home functionality, daytime running lights, LED fog lamps, and tail lamps. Only the base Navara EL gets halogen multi-reflector headlamps and bulb-type tail lights.

The latest NP300 Navara, built on the Nissan F-Alpha Platform with the code D23, boasts a four-door double cab body type and a sturdy body-on-frame construction. Available in 4x2 or 4x4 configurations, it's designed for both on-road and off-road enthusiasts.

This model features a fully boxed ladder frame offering added stiffness, balanced by a five-link rear suspension that ensures passenger comfort. Its front suspension includes an independent double wishbone with coil spring and stabilizer bar.

Under the hood, all variants of the Nissan NP300 Navara get a 2.5-liter YD25DDTi diesel engine powers the Navara, available with 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmissions. The manual generates 161 hp and 403 Nm of torque, while the automatic produces a more robust 187 hp and 450 Nm of torque. Fuel consumption figures vary between 6.8 km/L at 10-15 km/h, while 12.2 km/L when cruising at 60 km/h.

The braking system of the NP300 Navara consists of ventilated discs and drums at the front and rear ends, respectively. The NP300 Navara offers standard safety elements like multiple airbags, anti-lock brake system with electronic brakeforce distribution, and vehicle dynamic control. The VL and Pro 4X trims also include the Nissan Intelligent Mobility suite with intelligent emergency braking, driver attention alert, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, high beam assist, around view monitor, moving object detection, hill start assist, and hill descent control. 

The Nissan NP300 Navara impresses with its robust construction, and exceptional performance while also offering commendable fuel efficiency. It makes for a very sustainable and value for money urban pickup that can definitely take on tough roads and offer a great adventure experience.
