Ducati Monster 937 Plus

The new Ducati Monster 937 Plus looks modern and aggressive. The bike gets a fly screen and some minor design tweaks have definitely made it a more aesthetic package. The lean stance of the bike definitely adds to its enticing appearance and the bison-back fuel tank with the dual barrel shorty exhausts definitely enhances the aggressive stance and sporty character of this naked sports bike. 

The bike now gets more upright ergonomics with the aluminium alloy frame making for a more comfortable riding posture. The more comfortable posture is further enhanced by the handlebars coming closer by almost 70mm and the footpegs going a little lower. The seat height can go as low as 800 mm from the standard 820 mm, making for great convenience for the “not-so-tall” riders. 

With the new aluminium alloy frame, the bike has become lighter and offers an improved riding experience with better control and easier handling. The bike has a wide turning radius, and losing the trellis frame does not prevent the steering angle, making for very sharp steering and smooth cornering inputs. To further enhance the riding experience, the bike includes features like the Ducati Quick Shift, Ducati Power Launch, a 4.3" TFT colour display, Dynamic turn indicators, and a USB power socket.

The upside-down forks (43mm in diameter) at the front and the progressive linkage preload-adjustable rear mono-shock paired to an aluminum double-sided swingarm offers superior comfort and stable rides, with the bike effortlessly absorbing most of the bumps, at low and high speeds. 

The Monster 937 + gets a super capable 937cc Testastretta L-shaped V2 liquid-cooled engine getting Ducati’s signature Desmodromic valve system. The engine can make 111 hp of power at 9250 rpm and up to 93 Nm of peak torque at 6500 rpm. The electronic fuel injection system with wide 53mm throttle bodies along with a ride-by-wire system and a 6-speed manual transmission makes for smooth and effortless power delivery and exceptional acceleration through all rpm ranges. The exceptionally smooth slipper clutch adds to the overall riding experience by enabling seamless gear shifting. 

The best thing about the new Ducati 937 + is the upgraded technology with a wide range of safety and convenience features. The braking is handled by a pair of Brembo 320 mm discs with M4.32 monobloc calipers, radial pump, and sintered pad materials. 

The bike gets 3 riding modes and for further riding safety, the bike also gets Adjustable ABS Cornering, Adjustable DTC, and DWC Launch Control and traction control.
