I have ridden many Harley-Davidson bikes, and most of the time, I have had a positive experience with them. I purchased the Harley-Davidson Softail after my old bike collapsed in an accident. But after riding it for six months, I can say that it has taken all the joy out of my riding. When the bike hits larger bumps or potholes, the limited rear-wheel travel becomes obvious. I'm 5'8, and the seat height is very uncomfortable for me. At 26.8 inches, the bike's seat height is very low, even for a cruiser. I can't figure out why Harley-Davidson has designed such an uncomfortable bike.
