Recent Updates of Fury 125

The Kawasaki Fury 125 showcases the brand's signature crossbreed design concept. It helps the vehicle provide improved performance and impressive styling. Powering the Fury 125 is a 125cc 4-stroke, 2-valve, single-cylinder, Single Overhead Camshaft mill. As for the performance front, it churns out 9.65 hp at 8000 rpm along with a peak torque of 9.21 Nm at 6500 rpm. The reason behind better power feeling is the increased carburetor diameter and cam-profile that results in fast mid-high rpm acceleration. Also, bigger exhaust pipe and redesigned muffler increase the velocity, thus giving the rider a more sporty feel. The bike gets an aggressive and unique styling, just like a hybrid of a big bike. Plus, the mid-mounted fuel tank makes refueling so much easier for the rider. Adding to its looks is the stunning V-shaped headlamps that provide enhanced visibility at night. The color card includes three options - green, orange, and red.

Kawasaki Fury 125 Design

Kawasaki is usually known for its smashing and edgy-looking sports bikes, but the Fury 125 is far from anything but eye-catching. Kawasaki has tried hard to make the Fury 125 look appealing with body decals all around, however, the simple and too-basic design makes it look very basic and functional, a model for those who wish to have something on two wheels just for commuting.

At the front, the Kawasaki Fury 125 has an attractive headlamp, which has halogen illumination and sits within a bikini fairing which has tiny angular vents placed within its chin. This cowl has edges all around the sides and comes with amber turn indicators mounted on the sides. The front fender also has the edginess reflected in the design of the headlamp cowl, and somehow tries to make the front profile of the Kawasaki Fury 125 a bit youthful.

The side profile of the Kawasaki Fury 125 is unique when you compare that to the rest of the models sold by the brand in the Philippines. The step-through design of the Kawasaki Fury 125 consists of a Y-themed central panel, which accommodates the fuel tank, which also has large side panels flanking the sides and is finished in contrasting colours. These panels extend towards the engine mounted at the bottom and cover it from all sides while accommodating the engine cowl for added protection to the engine.

The athletic stance of the Kawasaki Fury 125 is further enhanced by these panels running towards the angularly-placed tail section, which also has bold decals over it and ends up with a compact but wide tail lamp assembly with an aluminium pillion grab rail above it. Like other entry-level commuters, the Kawasaki Fury 125 also has a long and slanted rear fender with amber turn indicators mounted on its upper corners.

The Kawasaki Fury 125 is equipped with spoke wheels, which are wrapped with tube-type tyres and has a sporty-looking long exhaust pipe with a premium-looking silver shield over it. Carrying the overall basic appeal of the Fury 125 is the bare-bones instrument console, which only has a speedometer and odometer in analogue layouts.

Fury 125 Ride & Handling

The overall looks of the Kawasaki Fury 125 might not be exciting, but what adds some excitement to it is how easy and nimble it feels to ride and handle in daily traffic conditions. With a lean profile, light kerb weight and well-tuned suspension setup – telescopic forks at the front and coil springs at the rear, the Fury 125 feels easy to handle amidst dense traffic conditions. The Fury 125 also comes equipped with a fancy-looking petal disc brake at the front, while the rear wheel has been armed with a basic drum brake.

Kawasaki Fury 125 Engine & Fuel Consumption

The Kawasaki Fury 125 is equipped with a four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 125cc engine, which also happens to be the smallest and least powerful engine offered by Kawasaki on any model in the Philippines. Paired with a 4-speed transmission, this refined and durable engine, which is known to last long, produces 9.7 PS of maximum power output and 9.2 Nm of maximum torque output.

Fury 125 Braking & Safety

The Kawasaki Fury 125 is a model that has been designed for those who are tight on a budget or want a cheap solution for commuting. Keeping such purposes in consideration, the Fury 125 doesn’t come equipped with new-age safety features, with the disc brake being the only element of attention for a safe braking experience while riding.

Kawasaki Fury 125 Verdict

The Fury 125 might not be a Kawasaki, which one usually desires for sporty riding. However, it is one effective budget commuter for new riders who want something cheap and easy to ride for daily commuting.
