The V Strom series might have a confusing name, but their models have unparalleled road presence and incredibly refined performance on any terrain. The 1050XT is the best of them all with an incredibly powerful engine that’s capable of delivering a solid performance on any terrain. Even though a lot of reviews say that this motorcycle is not suitable for off-roading, I have not had many problems going off-road with it so far. It is certainly heavy, so do take that into account when you are going out with the motorcycle to the great outdoors. Apart from that this motorcycle is literally perfect in every aspect, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
