I have been riding Yamaha bikes for years and have had a positive experience with most of the bikes produced by the brand. I recently purchased the Yamaha MT-09 for my brother but ended up loving it so much that most of the time I can be seen riding it. It also has a few minor gripes, like the uninspiring plasticky dash and uncomfortable seat. I got the seat replaced by paying an extra amount, and now I can't feel any discomfort or fatigue during long rides. Mid-corner bumps do not affect the ride quality of this bike.
