I have been driving the Hino FM8JR7A for almost a year at my current company. I have driven quite a few trucks in this segment, but this one is pretty efficient and does its job well. The truck is powered by a very capable 7.7-litre 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that can make 280 hp of power and 824 Nm of torque. With air brakes on both ends and ABS, braking is efficient and safe and the truck gets a modern cabin with a number of modern features like an adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, seat belts and a parking brake that make it a very convenient package.
