Honestly, I didn't know about the JMC Jim earlier. I thought that the market belonged to the likes of Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux and the Isuzu D-Max. But the JMC Jim really surprised me with its performance. It's far more affordable than the American and Japanese pickup trucks. But the JMC Jim is the most hardworking pickup trucks in Philippines. I bought the 4x4 version since I'm an off-roading fan. I haven't driven it off-road though. The build quality is strong and the 2.8-liter diesel engine is very powerful. It's more of a lifestyle vehicle and I take it for camping.
