What powers the Bajaj Maxima Z?
The Bajaj Maxima Z is powered by a 236.22 cc engine. How much fuel does the Bajaj RE consume?
Per Bajaj, De Asis’ RE consumes some P300 for 80 km.According to Bajaj Philippines, businessman Jake Rigor De Asis — owner of Lolo Dom’s Tuktuk Mobile Coffee Shop, which deals farm fresh beverages in the south — is pleased with his modified RE.
The said Bajaj RE is said to consume some P300 when De Asis travels from San Pablo City, Laguna to Lucban Quezon. The route he plies averages around 80 kilometers.
“Kapag sa loob lang kami ng San Pablo umiikot, umaabot na ng apat na araw ang P100 na gas (When we’re driving around San Pablo, our P100 worth of fuel lasts for four days),” De Asis explained.
Further, his Bajaj RE — the three-wheeler’s local wing pointed out — rarely encountered issues in the two years it has been in service. De Asis reportedly takes this RE not only drives over typical thoroughfares but also braves farm roads.
Thanks to its heavy-duty constant-velocity (CV) joint shaft and front fork, De Asis’ modified Bajaj RE can haul fresh fruits and coffee beans with relative ease.
It also offers decent ride quality, allowing De Asis to remain comfortable whether he drives on paved concrete or on rough provincial roads.
“Kung pang negosyo at pang hakot sa farm ang kailangan mo, ditokana sa Bajaj three-wheeler! Siguradong matipid, matibay, at kumportable ang araw-araw na kayod (If you need more business and farm hauling, it's here in the Bajaj three-wheeler! Everyday wear is sure to be economical, durable, and comfortable),” Bajaj Philippines wrote in a press release.
Similarly, Estrella Diaz Junior from Baybay City, Leyte expressed her satisfaction with the Bajaj Maxima Z.
Like De Asis, Diaz also lauded the Bajaj Maxima Z’s capable and fuel-efficient powertrain. Reportedly, her three-wheeler — equipped with a 236.22 cubic centimeter, fuel-injected engine — clocks in at around 25-27 kilometers per liter in challenging mountainous terrain.
“Yung iba, ginagamit siya pampamilya o pamasada, sa akin ginagamit ko lang talaga siya sa farm (others use it as a family vehicle or for public transport, for me I use it mainly in the farm),” Diaz noted.
Likewise, Diaz’s Bajaj Maxima Z is also fitted with a CV shaft, a dual front fork setup, and rides on 10-inch tires. As a result, it offers decent ride quality in both city and farm roadways.
“Sagot ng Bajaj Maxima Z ang iyong farm delivery needs dahil sa multi-purpose features nito! Delivery made easy sa tulong ng Bajaj Maxima Z (the Bajaj Maxima Z meets all your farm delivery needs with its multi-purpose features! Make deliveries easy with the Bajaj Maxima Z),” Bajaj Philippines said in a press statement.
The Bajaj RE is priced from P182,888-P194,888 while the Maxima Z costs only P21,888.
