Bajaj breaches 1.1-M global sales mark from Jan.-Jun. 2024

MANILA: Bajaj has sold a total of 1,102,056 vehicles in January-June of 2024.

Per the Indian mobility brand, the said numbers reflected a seven percent increase compared to its sales in the same time period in 2023.

For June alone, Bajaj sold 358,477, which translated to a five percent increase versus the same month last year. Of the said figure, 216,451 units were sold domestically (up by eight percent year-on-year) and 142,026 units were sold outside of India (up by one percent year-on-year).

Following Bajaj’s good first six months, the Pune-headquartered brand’s share price rose by over two percent in early trading to ₹9,696.55 (approximately P6,807.20) per share on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Bajaj has gained a strong foothold in the local three-wheeler segment thanks to nameplates like the Maxima Cargo, Maxima Z, and RE.

Consistently, the brand highlights the benefits of using their products not only for small and medium enterprises but also as a partner of fleet operators for public transportation.
