    Iconic Jeepney

Dubbed the Iconic Jeepney, it uses a roomier, bus-like design that allows for exterior customization and versatility.

Per CMANC, the Iconic Jeepney is a representation of our nation’s heritage and unity. While it bears a slightly different shape and was kitted out with modern amenities, it continues the legacy and history of the Jeepney as we know it.

Specs-wise, the aforementioned model uses a Euro 4 compliant 2.8-liter inline-4 turbocharged diesel engine capable of producing up to 107 horsepower (hp) and 254 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque.

Power is sent to its wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. The basic body type of the model can seat up to 22 occupants (including the driver), and it may come with or without air conditioning.

To note, the 22-seater variant uses perimeter seating, while the one with forward-facing seats can accommodate up to 24 people.

    Daewoo Bus

Per its name, the Daewoo Bus was licensed by CMANC from the South Korean commercial vehicle brand to be assembled for the Philippine market.

As such, the said model is fully built locally, and it showcases the local company’s expertise in manufacturing and assembly.

Specifically shown at the 9th PIMS is the BS 106 model, which is powered by the 6-liter DL06K Euro 5 compliant diesel engine. It is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, and it can produce up to 285 hp.

    Smartbody

Likewise displayed at the biennial car show is the company’s Smartbody.
