Foton flexes commercial vehicles and powers businesses in 2021

MANILA: Foton Philippines Inc. (FMPI) concluded 2021 with strengthened fleet partnerships across multiple industries.

Covering fleet clients such as start-up businesses, small to medium enterprises (SMEs), and multinational companies, the brand continues to attract more patronage all over the country, FMPI boasted in a release. 

Foton sports a range of commercial vehicles such as vans and light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks. 

In the e-commerce delivery industry, J&T Express and GoGo Xpress  acquired more than 500 units of the light-duty Tornado Series trucks for its nationwide operations mobility requirements. 

In the trucking and hauling industries, FMPI called Asian Ventures General Services and Cebu-based Arrow Go Logistics as its loyal partners. FMPI offers a selection of trucks such as the 4CBM and 30CBM, and tractor heads under the EST series.

Moving on to charity and welfare, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) last year, acquired a fleet of Tornado Food Trucks. The trucks are equipped with kitchen equipment and tools, capable of preparing meals immediately for those affected by disaster and conflict. 

Supporting the national government’s campaign in innovating public transportation, FMPI provided F-Jeepneys to local government unit partners in Sta. Rosa Laguna, San Pedro Laguna, Gerona Tarlac, and Cebu Mandaue.

For transporting medical products such as vaccines and pharmaceutical essentials, the Pharmaserv Express trusted Tornado Refrigerated Vans. The Tornado M4.2C Ref-Vans feature the best technologies for storage, including the Thermo King that can provide cold storage as low as below 20 degrees Celsius.

To feed livestock, Pigrolac Premium Hog Feeds launched its farm-penetration Mobile Action Team, which is accompanied by its new fleet of Gratour MT Wing Vans. 

Also last year, FMPI invested in empowering after-sales performance and service, vending new programs including year-round discounts for spare parts, extended engine warranties, and more extensive on-site services.
