Foton PH paces 6-wheeler truck YTD sales

MANILA: According to the recent report of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI), Foton Motor Philippines, Inc. (FMPI) has taken the top spot in Category IV (six-wheeler trucks) sales and the third spot in overall truck sales for 2021.

To keep up with the rapid growth in the logistics, transportation, and infrastructure industries, Foton continues to offer a wide range of reliable commercial vehicles. Despite the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, Foton was able to move a total of 677 units in the Category III and Category V. The brand recorded an 80.35% increase in year-to-date (YTD) sales, led by the successful Tornado Series. In May alone, Foton registered a whopping 109% increase in sales versus the same month last year.

FMPI President Rommel Sytin stated, “Supporting various industries, including the cold-storage requirements for the transport of the COVID-19 vaccines, inspires us to continue pursuing the country’s mobility needs.
